Amboseli National Park is known for its large elephant herds known as the gentle giants who roam freely in the vast plains of the park against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. The park has varied wildlife that includes wildebeest, zebras, lions, giraffes, hippos, hyenas among many other including hundreds of bird species.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Depart from Nairobi

You will be met by our guide at your hotel in Nairobi early in the morning and start your safari. Depart Nairobi and drive south into the arid Maasai land to the Amboseli National Park at the foot of snow-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak and home to the giants (Elephants).

Arrive camp in time for lunch and check in. After a short rest head for an afternoon game drive. The park is a hotspot for wildlife as the swamps provide abundant water throughout the year.

Head back to the camp after game drive and relax as the sun sets. Have a sumptuous dinner before retiring for the day.

Day 2: Amboseli - Nairobi

Depart for early morning game drive from 6.30 am - 9.30 am then return to camp for breakfast and check out. Leave for Nairobi departing late in the afternoon with drop off at hotel or Airport.
