Day 1: Nairobi – Maasai Mara Reserve
Depart Nairobi and drive to the floor of the Great Rift Valley with a stopover to have a view of the great escarpment and the Italian Catholic Church built by prisoners of war. Proceed to Maasai Mara Reserve Park and arrive in time for lunch at Lodge. Afternoon game viewing, in search of lion, elephant, cheetah, giraffe, buffalo, wildebeest, gazelle and other plains game abound, not forgetting the hundreds of species of birds. Dinner and overnight at camp/lodge.
Day 2: Maasai Mara Reserve
Day two is dedicated to game spotting in this sprawling reserve. You can watch a lion, cheetah or leopard hunting or feasting on its kill. Game drives are flexible, with the option of going out with picnic lunch boxes to spend entire day in the park, or you can choose to have early morning and late afternoon game drives. There is an option of visiting a Maasai village (USD$ 20-30 per person). All meals and overnight at camp/lodge
Day 3: Maasai Mara Reserve - Nairobi
After breakfast, depart the great plains of Maasai Mara and drive back to Nairobi. You will be dropped at your Hotel or at the Airport for your onward flight home. Optional lunch at the Carnivore restaurant at extra cost.
