Overview

A visit to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, a privately owned conservancyright at the equator andbetween the Aberdare Mountain Ranges and the snowcappedMount Kenya. It boasts an amazing variety of wildlife including the Big five, Special five and numerous bird species. It is home to a number of endangered species. It is the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa and home to the only chimpanzees’ sanctuary in Kenya. A variety of special activities are available to guests that include lion tracking, endangered species Boma, horseback and dog tracking that are unique to the park.

Day 1: Nairobi – Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Pick up from your hotel and drive north through rich farmlands of central Kenya to Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Explore theconservancy that is home to both the Big Five and the Special Five (Beisa Oryx, Grevy’s Zebra, Reticulated Giraffe, Somali Ostrich and Gerenuk). The conservancy offers fantastic game drive experiences that are only unique to the conservancy. Lunch at camp then depart for afternoon game drive or choose from the variety of optional activities that you can engage in such as visiting the chimpanzee sanctuary,lion tracking, visiting Baraka the blind rhino or exploring the education center. Dinner and overnight at camp.

Day 2: Ol Pejeta Conservancy – Nairobi

Early morning game viewing drives at the Sanctuary. Alternatively try one of the activities the conservancy offers its guests.


Return Nairobi early in the afternoon. Drop off at your hotel.
